How To Read Cards? 3 Basic Rules of Interpretation.
This question is asked quite often since we do have the Destiny Book available online. I can't say that reading your spreads is an easy task as you need to be quite literate with each card, the life and the perfect spread and have the planetary influences well adjusted in your mind. If you do well in puzzles, reading your life spread might be the best game ever created by the human being. Except the knowledge of Destiny, cards are not a game.
In Progressions, each card is displayed with correlated planets found in your personal life spreads (birth card and planetary ruling cards). You will see it on your daily readings and also in your yearly spreads. It is a very important thing to understand your relationship with each card falling into your period (day, or 52-days period, or the yearly cards). And this makes the first rule of interpreting your spreads.
Rule Number 1. Understand Your Relationship With Each Card In a Spread.
If you have read your birth spread, you already know how each card works for you.
There are nine planetary cards in your birth spread:
Sun (Birth card), Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.
46 cards have two extra Karma cards, and each of us has two more cards for planetary rulers (people who born under Scorpio sign has two planetary rulers).
If you find cards from your birth spreads in your reading, consider your personal relations with it. For example, your Jupiter card will always give you a hand. Your Venus card amplifies sensations of love and comfort. Your Saturn card disciplines your body and spirit. When you see your Jupiter card, whichever it's actually is, in your Saturn period – you know – if you get sick, help is coming. Your Mars card in Venus period will make you quite aggressive in love affairs, or home repairs. The same principle will work for your daily readings because each day of the week is assigned to the planet.
If you like to get proficient in destiny cards interpretation, the daily reading is the best helper. There are two to six cards you will find in your daily reading. Daily vibrations are not as strong as 52-days period vibrations, of course, but if you are sensitive you will feel it.
The strength of an influence is also important. Direct positioned card in your birth spread will act more influentially than vertical card. Spiritual cards aren't strong on the mundane level.
For example, if you are Three of Diamonds birth card, the Seven of Diamonds (direct Mars Card) will give you stronger impulse for action than, for example, the Seven of Clubs (your vertical Mars card).
Rule Number 2. Take People Into The Picture.
If you see the cards of people you know, it shows you the time this person enter your life, and the role he or she will play in your life at this period (7 days for the daily spread, one year for yearly spreads). If you see someone in your Jupiter period, for example, you may meet him or her at this time, or he(she) will help you in some way, or another during this week (52 days period).
If you find someone as your Pluto card in the yearly spread, it means that this person will challenge you in some way. If this card is benefic to you as, for example, your Venus card, the difficult influence of Pluto will smooth the edges, but your relationship with a person will be transformed on some level.
It works the same way with all Personality cards. You may meet the Five of Diamonds guy and see either the Jack or the King of Diamonds in your spread.
As our Karma cards represent our inner selves, I always consider the Karma card of people I know (especially the first Karma card) as a person itself. I noticed that at periods where someone's first Karma card shows up in the spread, negative traits associated with it become more obvious.
Rule Number 3. The Double Influence.
Jupiter card in Jupiter period doubles success and abundance. Venus card in Venus position intensifies your appreciation of love and beauty. Saturn Card in Saturn position brings Karmic events and disciplinary requirements.
9 Days and 9 Years Cycles.
As Olney Richmond said in his "Mystic Test Book," "we find in tarology a wonderful blending of these two numbers (7 and 9) in harmonious relations in thousand ways".
The Tarot reading is based on your name, and birth date vibrations deliver a vital piece of information to your regular card readings. The personal year is divided by three equal time periods, four months each. The period of 90 years is also divided into three major periods. Additional events are added. The letters of your name in the exact order written in your birth certificate give us more information on events that will occur at this time.
It is quite interesting to see how tarot, numerology and Destiny cards are blended together, but as now you can look up your destiny, you can recognize patterns of universe as one global mechanism running of every cell of its spiritual and physical essence toward the infinite ideal.
